I can't help it, I love this outfit. The coat with the jeans and the boots, all together, Chloe makes Mary-Kate look like a bag-lady-chic novice.
P.S. That's a bag inside a bag. love it!

Believe it or not, until yesterday I was an LA native who'd never been to the Getty Museum. The Irving Penn photography exhibit was my personal favorite. When we walked outside in the garden area around 4:30pm there was the most perfect winter sunset.

The other day I got my hands on a pair of Camillla Skovgaard wedge ankle booties!! From the tread on the sole to the hidden platform, these boots have quickly become my new go-to shoes. Another major plus, is that they are super comfy, you could walk all day or dance all night in them. I did also try on the thigh-high version but opted for ankle height instead (more my style) although the thigh-high ones are HOT! Shopbop has sold out of these shoes but I've seen some on Ebay. I can officially use the word "fiance". On Friday night my longtime boyfriend Matt popped the question at our favorite Italian restaurant. The next night we celebrated my birthday at Pico Bowl to in Santa Monica for some extreme bowling. There were Sprinkles cupcakes, good friends and glow in the dark bowling balls, we had a blast!! To say the least, it will be a birthday to remember. Pin It

Sunday morning at the Melrose Flea Market is full of surprises and hidden gems; case in point this vintage rhinestone necklace I scored for 10 bucks!!! I'm not really a blingy girl, but sometimes I can't resist a little over-the-top jewelry paired with a casual t-shirt. I love how Alexa Chung is wearing her rhinestone necklace with her hair in a messy ponytail and a simple red top. You go girl!Pin It

Shoes are definitely the one thing I like to splurge on. I can't deny it anymore, it brings me joy when I look down at my feet and see a pretty pair of shoes on them. These Giuseppe Zanotti gladiator sandals are a neutral mushroom color that can be worn any season. I paired mine with some skinny black jeans and a gray zippered vest. Pin It

Thursday night was the Buzz Girls Two Year Anniversary Fashion Show downtown at the California Market Center. It was a night of fun, fashion and free giveaways! Of course, I had to wear my new faux leopard coat from Pencey (an early bday gift from my super cool boss Simone).
Celebrity make-up artist, Kerry Malouf did the make-up for the show and the models looked amazing. There was sushi from Sushi Roku which was so delish I had to keep going back for more (spicy tuna hand roll...wow!) and cupcakes from Crumbs...yummm. While the food was great, I think our favorite part of the evening was the Photoboothless Photobooth machine which allows you to take pictures and prints them out instantly. At the end of the night we got to fill bags full of freebies, which included make-up from Cargo and Jouer, Kronos hair product, Michael Kors perfume, eco-friendly water bottles and Neutrogena moisturizers. Lately, I've been trying to find a really cool, statement cuff that can take any simple outfit to the next level. Lucky for me I just stumbled upon Michelle Roy's Glam Rock jewelry collection. Her collection is easy to wear, you can tell she put her heart and soul into each piece. My favorite one is the last picture shown, leather cuff with the tan peacock feather...sooo pretty! Pin It

The spookiest night of the year has arrived. I'm about to rummage through my closet and put together something. Its looking like I'm being Pocohontas, an Ice Skater, Little Red Riding Hood or Betty Draper from Mad Men. I loooove waiting the last minute to figure it out!
What are your costume ideas for tonight? Pin It

Sorry its been a while since our last post, life has been so hectic between designing, selling on ebay and working as a personal assistant. Anyways last weekend Matt and I took a drive up the coast to Pismo Beach (about 1 and a half north of Santa Barbara) which is sooo gorgeous. We went to the all natural mineral hot springs at Sycamore Resort and even had a bonfire inside a cave on the beach. Our last day we hung out in San Luis Obispo to hang with our friends Kannyn and Koral. Kannyn is the owner/buyer for the cutest store ever, Ambiance. They have an eclectic mix of clothing and accessories- from vintage boots to custom re-worked vintage dresses and various indie designers. The boutique has a fun, girly vibe...LOVE the pink walls.
