A Memorial Day

Today was definitely a good one.  I took these pictures at a secret little walkway in Venice. The colors were so vibrant and inspiring.  Then I spotted this fat car sleeping on someone's front porch and I didn't even know if he was real because he was so still but then he peeped his eyes open and looked right at me.

...another summer outfit post. I just love the great ensembles ladies are coming up with as the weather gets warmer. We are all susceptible to a little outfit inspiration.

I love how this one is so classic and simple. Something that a young Brigitte would wear today.

Wall Flower

Isabel Marant's designs have recently caught my attention. I truly adore the collection from her Spring '09 runway show. My favorite item is the lace mini-dress; its so dreamy!!! There is something incredibly sexy about a sheer dress. The undergarments seen underneath, the skin covered but still leaving a little to the imagination. On a practical level, it also breathes and summer is upon us. I (M) went searching for some of the most promising sheer dresses for sale now.

ladies who do tea.

Last Sunday, We, M, T and Nikki went to our friend Giedre's (or G as we like to call our Lithuanian comrade) tea party, the occasion being her moving to London. Of course she looked fabulous, in her vintage flowered asymmetrical dress, white gloves and hat. She always knows how to make a statement. The food and tea was delicious and seeing G off was both saddening but we are all hopeful for her future successes in England. Pin It
